Cookies on this site

Only the two this site needs to work. No analytics, no advertising, nothing that follows you elsewhere.

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses two, both strictly necessary for it to work. Under the UK’s Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) cookies like these do not need your consent, but you have the right to know what they are and what they do.

The cookies we use

paola-filotico-session Keeps your visit together while you fill in the booking or contact form, so what you have entered is not lost between one step and the next. How long: 2 hours
XSRF-TOKEN Protects the forms: it proves that a booking or a message was sent from this site and not forged by another one. How long: 2 hours
pf-cookie-notice Not a cookie: a note kept in your browser’s storage that you have seen the notice about cookies, so it does not come back on every page. It is never sent to us. How long: Until you clear your browser data

What we don’t use

No analytics or statistics, no advertising, no social media buttons, no tracking pixels. Fonts, images and scripts are all served by this site: nothing is loaded from another company’s servers, so no one else learns that you have been here.

The private area

The administration area of the site, used only by Paola, sets its own sign-in cookie when she logs in. Visitors never receive it.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block the two above, the site can still be read, but the booking and contact forms will not be able to send. The Information Commissioner’s Office explains how cookies work and how to control them: ico.org.uk.
